On a strange field near Portishead in South-West England, these terraces dominate the landscape, with strange concrete constructions scattered all around. Like everywhere else in the UK it is not possible to enter the site to take photographs, so I decided to let the fence determine what motifs I made. Fortunately, my camera is tiny (Fuji XT-1), so I could shoot between the bars of the fence. Interesting how obstacles sometimes can be the setting that shapes how the project ends up.
It turned out that the whole area was a jet fuel storage, thus the spiked fence.
